EOP HQ Office
Washington, DC
15,000 SF
Corporate Interiors
Aimed at enhancing the client image through a modern open and well lit working environment. This Chicago-Based REIT developed an environmantal office standard with flexibility to mold at the regional level. As the HQ for EOP's DC Metro area portfolio, the space was designed with office collaborative culture as a primary component. Wider corridors and nitches along passageways were deliberatly created not just as a formal design gesture but rather as a means to slow down the circulation and promote collaboration. Common areas such as conference rooms, huddle rooms, copy rooms and kitchens were given a primary attention both in their location and material/color pallette. The space is comprised of both closed private office and open office environment with attention to daylighting and artificial lighting. The material pallette is monochromatic and light in color.
